Pro-grade perps, X4T simple
Everything you need to trade perpetual futures, without external wallets, bridges or browser extensions.
Go long or short
Take a position on prices rising or falling. Opening a short is as easy as going long.
Up to 40x leverage
Choose anything from 1x to the market maximum: 40x on BTC, 25x on ETH, 20x on SOL. Adjust it before every trade.
Isolated margin
Every position has its own margin. A liquidation only costs that position's margin, never the rest of your balance.
One USDC balance
Fund your perps account with USDC once and trade every market. Profits and losses settle in USDC.
Signed in custody
Orders are signed inside X4T custody. No seed phrases, no browser wallets, no pop-ups to approve.
Know before you confirm
Order value, required margin, estimated liquidation price and fees are shown before you place an order.
How perpetual futures work
A perp tracks the price of a coin without you holding the coin, and it never expires. Four ideas cover the essentials.
No expiry date
Unlike classic futures, a perpetual contract never expires. Keep a position open for minutes or months, as long as your margin supports it.
Funding every hour
Every hour, longs and shorts exchange a small funding payment that keeps the perp price close to the spot price. Positive rate: longs pay shorts. Negative rate: shorts pay longs.

Margin × leverage = position
Margin is the collateral you commit. Leverage multiplies your exposure, and moves your margin that many times faster, in both directions.
Liquidation
If losses eat your margin down to the maintenance level, the position is closed automatically. The higher your leverage, the smaller the move it takes.

Perpetual futures FAQ
Perpetual futures, or perps, are contracts that track the price of a crypto asset without an expiry date. You don't buy the coin itself: you open a long position if you expect the price to rise, or a short position if you expect it to fall, and your profit or loss follows the price.
Leverage lets you open a position larger than your margin. With 100 USDC of margin at 10x you control a position worth 1,000 USDC, so a 1% price move changes your margin by about 10%. You can choose from 1x up to each market's maximum, which is shown next to the trading pair, for example 40x on BTC. The higher the leverage, the smaller the price move that can liquidate you.
Funding is a payment between longs and shorts that keeps the perp price anchored to the spot price. On X4T Perps it is settled every hour. When the rate is positive, longs pay shorts; when it is negative, shorts pay longs. The current rate and a countdown to the next payment are shown above every chart.
If losses reduce a position's margin to the maintenance margin, the position is closed automatically and you should expect to lose the margin assigned to it. The order panel shows an estimated liquidation price before you trade, so you know where that level is.
With isolated margin, every position has its own margin. If one position is liquidated, only its margin is affected: the rest of your perps balance and your other positions are not used to cover the loss.
With isolated margin, the most you can lose on a position is the margin you assigned to it. That can still be a total loss of that margin, so only commit funds you can afford to lose and consider low leverage while you learn.
Bitcoin, Ether, Solana, HYPE and well over a hundred more, from large caps to new listings. Every market shows its maximum leverage next to the trading pair.
An X4T account and USDC in your perps balance. You can deposit and withdraw USDC from the Perps tab in the app.
You pay a trading fee when an order is executed, and you pay or receive funding while a position is open. Before you confirm, the order panel shows the order value, the required margin and the fees.
Orders are signed inside X4T custody. You never handle private keys, seed phrases or browser wallets, and your perps account is part of the X4T account you already use.
Perpetual futures are complex, leveraged products and are not suitable for everyone. Prices can move fast and you can lose your entire margin. Start small, use low leverage while you learn, and only trade with money you can afford to lose.
