Cosmos Hub is a network of independent, parallel blockchains called zones. Each zone runs on Tendermint, a Byzantine fault-tolerant consensus protocol, rather than proof-of-work. The architecture lets you connect any blockchain system to the Hub and move tokens between zones without intermediaries or bridges. The network uses proof-of-stake and classic BFT consensus.
