Miners stake capital to participate and earn TRB tokens by fulfilling data requests. When you request data, you use TRB to specify which price feeds or metrics you need. This token-based mechanism aligns miner rewards with accurate reporting and creates a sustainable market for high-value data feeds that decentralized applications actually use. Tellor builds a time series for each data type, establishing itself as a reference layer for pricing and other critical information across DeFi protocols. The staked miner network secures inputs through economic penalties for bad actors, creating direct accountability without relying on trusted intermediaries.
